Kagiso Rabada has ruffled feathers in his short career and he has been the leader of the bowling attack for the Proteas. But he has often been guilty of getting carried away by emotions. Back in January, during the Test series against England, he was fined 15 per cent of match fees after his fiery send off to opponent skipper Joe Root.

The 24-year-old Rabada admitted to the offence though. It also happened to be his fourth demerit point in a gap of 24 months and he went on to miss the next Test match.

Back in 2018, Rabada was banned for the last two matches of the series after he made inappropriate contact with the then Australia captain Steve Smith. In the same year, he was also fined after he made some gesture towards India’s Shikhar Dhawan following the latter’s wicket.
