This might be another eye-opening and surprising name in the list. However, Ishant Sharma is a veteran in Indian cricket now and has been playing international cricket for nearly 13 years. While he’s stayed fit for the most part of his career, he will need to manage his workload.

Ishant has become one of India’s key bowlers in Test cricket and has found a new life. In fact, since 2018, his numbers have been on the rise and he’s bowling better than ever. However, he is out of favour in the shorter formats and isn’t on the selection radar either. In fact, he was even overlooked by all franchises in the 2018 IPL.

Thus, the lanky fast bowler from Delhi might consider quitting the shortest format. It will help him concentrate more on red-ball cricket where he’s spearheading the Indian attack, especially overseas.
