This incident between Virender Sehwag and Michael Clarke is one of the most cherished ones if you are an Indian fan especially considering the profound invincible nature the Aussies possessed at that time.

However, this incident had taken place during the 2003-04 Test series in Australia when the visitors were playing their scheduled match against Australia ‘A’ team. Sachin, on the other hand, after undergoing his back spasms treatment, had come in to bat and that’s when the young Michael Clarke told the legendary batsman to walk back as he was too old to bat to which Sachin didn’t reply.

However, Virender Sehwag did walk up to the young Clarke by asking about his age and asked him to stop bothering the great batsman as Sachin had more centuries than his age. Despite Sehwag’s response, Clarke continued with his rant which eventually propelled Sehwag to ask which dog breed he belongs to since his teammates called him “Pup”.
