If the game of cricket is a funfair then IPL is the most captivating roller coaster ride of it. Here all sections of people are tossed around in excitement, as they fling in the air during their ride. From the last five weeks, the league has been giving a rush of adrenaline to the fans with its tight turns and steep slopes, nail-biters. Now it is time for the last hill of the ride, playoffs and the action is surely going to be gravity defying.

Since the inception of the T20s, the pyrotechnics of batsmen have changed, and in IPL the level of batsmanship has always been of a higher order. Over the years the spectators have rejoiced their batting superstars produce some masterclass. Here most of the players from around the world have enjoyed their time with the bat. Overseas batsmen have definitely ruled the roost in IPL, but there are some stars who have not flourished this season.

The following are the five International batsmen who never tasted success in IPL

1) Yuvraj Singh

The southpaw from Punjab is the biggest match-winner to have played for the India in this century. Yuvraj Singh has been a white ball hero, as he was the central figure in both of India’s World Cup triumphs (2007 and 2011). In T20I some of the innings played by Yuvraj Singh are inscribed in the history books of Indian cricket. His 6 sixes in an over against Broad is one of the many superlative records created by him.

When IPL started its journey in 2008 the left-hander was one of the icon players. Though Yuvraj lit up the stage with a couple of hat-tricks in the second season, but with the bat, he only played odd blistering knocks. In his 11-year IPL career, Yuvraj has never been an impact player for any of his 6 franchises. The Indian legend has always attracted pots of money in the auction, but he has never been a game changer in this league and it is really surprising.
