Tamil Nadu’s Baba Aparajith is having the time of his life in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, performing exceedingly well with the bat and ball. He has been warming the bench with the Chennai Super Kings for a couple of seasons before finding no buyers in the previous edition.

He could be one of the hottest properties in the auction this time and among the other names mentioned in the list, he could cost a little more than expected. With 470 runs in 9 games at an average in excess of 75, he has made his mark among media professionals and a lot of experts reckon he’s ready for the biggest level.

Aparajith was a part of the U19 Indian side under Unmukt Chand, which won the trophy in 2012. He has been a part of the Tamil Nadu domestic team ever since but has failed to garner the attention he would’ve imagined. This could be one great chance for him to make a mark.
