Injuries are pretty common in cricket and every other sport for that matter. However, getting injured while you are celebrating is something you hardly ever see. Such an incident happened with the Pakistani quick, Hasan Ali.

The incident took place during Pakistan’s tour to Zimbabwe, in 2018. Hasan Ali came steaming in and bowled Ryan Murray out. After bowling Murray out, Hasan Ali did his trademark ‘bomb’ celebration, which went wrong this time.

The aggressive celebration resulted in him getting a slight niggle on his neck. This also ruled him out for the next two games in the series. It still remains one of the most embarrassing moments in cricket history and a moment which Hasan Ali would surely want to forget.

Over the years, Glenn Maxwell has gone to immeasurable extents to entertain the crowd. The Australian has never shied away from sending the ball out of the park, especially in a T20 game. Each cricketer has that one incident with the bat or ball which he would want to forget and for Maxwell it is the first ball leave.

The incident took place back in December 2014 in the Big Bash League. In a game between Melbourne Stars and Brisbane Heat, Glenn Maxwell came to bat in the first over of the run chase. Glenn Maxwell was down the track and completely misjudged the in-swinger by Ryan Duffield, resulting in him getting out bowled.

To this day, Maxi’s leave remains one of the worst leaves in cricket history. In an interview, the Australian all-rounder said that he probably got a little too funky. It might have been embarrassing for Maxwell, but it was hilarious for the fans all over the world.

In the post-match presentation, Ramiz Raja called Shahid Afridi to collect an award, which was to be given by one of the female sponsors. When Shahid Afridi approached, he directly posed for a picture while ignoring the handshake of the woman who was handing him the award.

To this day, nobody knows whether it was intentional or accidental. However, past comments of Shahid Afridi makes one wonder that he did it intentionally. Anyway, to this day, it remains one of the most embarrassing moments in cricket history, especially for the poor woman.

In the Big Bash League 2020-21, Usman Khawaja left everyone laughing after he changed his Abdomen Guard. In a game between Sydney Thunder and Brisbane Heat, the Australian batsman faced a hitch with his abdomen guard. He had to change his abdomen guard before getting ready to get going with his batting.

However, what he did next shocked everyone and left everyone laughing. One would think that a player would go to the dressing room and quickly change whatever discomforts he is facing. Usman Khawaja had other ideas as he decided to change his abdomen guard on the field itself.

Khawaja took off his pads, shoes, trousers, and the commentators were wondering what was going on. The incident also paused the game for a few minutes as Khawaja called a substitute player from his dugout to get another abdomen guard. This is surely one of the moments you had never seen before in cricket history.
