What to say about this Bangladeshi phenomenon! He has been simply outstanding in his short career. He already holds the record for taking the most no. of wickets in a debut series. In only his first series, this 20-year-old young man displayed his skills to destroy the power packed Indian batting lineup. They couldn’t figure out his slower ball variations and lost the series 1-2. He took 13 wickets from 3 matches in that series and has already proven himself as a match-winner. More recently against Zimbabwe, he took another fifer as the cricketing fraternity witnessed a scene which is unimaginable in this day and age. All the Bangla fielders were standing in the slips as the left arm pacer completed his 3rd fifer in ODIs. His real test will come while touring, though, but it has to be said that Mustafizur has had the most impact in the rise of Bangladesh Team who as a matter of fact has been the second most successful ODI team of the year.
