The Indian Premier League has been a kind of talent-finding tournament for the national teams. Many players have performed well and had got a chance to represent the national teams and IPL has been consistently showcasing the young talents and it has been an amazing platform for the youngsters over the years.

After the T20 World Cup, the Indian team has their next fixture against New Zealand from the 17th of November. India will host 3 T20Is and 2 Test matches. The Indian players have been put into serious workload for many months together and are affected by fatigue caused by the bio-bubble, so the BCCI has decided to rest some of the senior players for the T20I matches.

The Indian team would be led by KL Rahul according to the official sources. Many young Indian players have performed well in the IPL and were not given a chance in the World Cup squad due to the experience and availability of senior players. But this series against New Zealand might be their golden entry ticket into the Indian team as the senior players are to be rested.
