The flamboyant opening batsman from England impressed one and all in the recently concluded series between England and India. The fact that the Englishmen were on the show recently will make them valuable as the team owners kept their keen eyes on them. Roy, who has been doing really well for England in the past couple of years is expected to collect big bucks this season.

The right-hander was in a magnificent form against India in the 3-ODIs series as he scored half-centuries in each of the three games. He had scores of 73, 82 and 65 with strike rates of above 100 on all occasions. He would be a top pick for the teams looking for an overseas opener.
