The left-handed, long-haired explosive middle-order batsman from the state of one of the greatest players in cricket, MS Dhoni, Saurabh Tiwary could be the player that his IPL franchise, Mumbai Indians decides to loan out to another franchise if the need be.

The 30-year-old has been a part of many franchises in the past and his performances are the reason for this. And, this season too, that very factor could see him changing jerseys for yet another time. His performances in the domestic circuits were promising enough to cause the Mumbai Indians to retain him, but that would not be enough for him to be safe from the transfers that might take in the middle of this year’s tournament.

Mumbai Indians have plenty of better options to play in the middle order, which is the place where Tiwary bats when in the team. There are players like Keiron Pollard, Ishan Kishan and the captain of the team himself, Rohit Sharma, in the middle order, blocking out any other player’s inclusion here. So, if Mumbai Indians decides to loan out a player, it would be Tiwary’s name that would pop up.
