The Royal Challengers Bangalore team that is still searching for its first tournament, will be going into the 2020 season of IPL with the best of its players. And, Moeen Ali’s name in all probabilities will not be featuring in that list. But, the one list that he could very well be a part of would be the list of players that are loaned out by RCB to the other teams.

While he has had a decent run in the Indian Premier League, as an all-rounder for RCB, but his recent form has not been the best. In his last 5 matches in the Pakistan Super League, he hasn’t fared well both with the bat and the ball in hand. He has been able to get only a single wicket and has scored a total of 94 runs, 65 of which came in a single inning. With his national team too, he hasn’t done particularly well, which pushed his name further up the aforementioned list.

This season, RCB has plenty of all-round options in their team, including the likes of Shivam Dube and Washington Sundar, who are not only capable enough to take Moeen’s place. Adding to that, they are Indian players, which would lead to the vacation of a spot for an overseas player in the playing XI and Virat Kohli, the captain of the team would use it to its full effect.
