The tall South African all-rounder is known for his hitting skills with the bat as well as his ability to chip in with some useful overs and take a wicket or two. He played for quite a few IPL franchises, and one would be dishonest to say he didn’t do well. His International performances, unlike his IPL ones, weren’t too impressive, even after getting over 100 matches to feature in.

The 37-year-old, in his 91 IPL matches, scored at an average of over 24 and a crazy strike-rate of almost 142, while also taking 85 wickets at 27.75. His International numbers, on the contrary, are nowhere close to this, as, in his 108 limited-overs matches for South Africa, Albie has an overall batting average of around 22. His bowling hasn’t been all that good either, as he has taken only 76 wickets at a not-so-good average of around 35.
