The attacking Aussie right-hander has played some memorable knocks in the IPL for his current franchise Kolkata Knight Riders in the last few years. The quick starts he has given to the Knights on several occasions have proved to be game-changing.

The world first got a decent glimpse of Lynn, when he took a screamer of a catch to dismiss AB de Villiers and hand his team the victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore a few years ago. Lynn, on the back of his IPL performances, earned himself a national call-up, but unfortunately, he hasn’t offered anything big at the international level yet.

The 28-year-old has played 28 IPL matches till now, in which he has scored 875 runs at an average of 35 and a strike-rate of 141.13. He has also had some moments of magic in the field, with his catching in particular. At the international level though, Lynn hasn’t quite fired. In the 22 limited-overs matches he has played for his country, the right-hander only averages around 19 despite having a strike-rate of over 100.
