He is a man whose power hitting is matched by very few batsmen in modern-day cricket. He can decimate any bowling attack and give sleepless nights to the opposition captain. He is also a man who can hurl the ball at pace and create questions in the mind of the batsman. And, he is also one of the most athletic fielders as well. Andre Russell is an asset for whichever team he plays.

The West Indian has been a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) side since the 2014 IPL edition. In the 2020 edition of the IPL though, the all-rounder could not set the stage on fire. The right-hander could manage to score only 117 runs in the 13th IPL edition at an abysmal average of just 13.00.

Russell was recently seen sporting his KKR gloves for the Colombo Kings in the game against Galle Gladiators in the Lanka Premier League. Wearing his KKR gloves, Russell smashed a murderous 19-ball 65 to enable his side to wallop the Galle Gladiators by 34 runs.
