One issue that has perennially plagued the RCB side is their ‘weak’ bowling attack. Many have pointed out that it is RCB’s bowling attack that has let the side down, year after year. But then, the Virat Kohli-led outfit seems to have ironed out this chink in their armor in the 2021 edition of the IPL.

In fact, RCB pacer Harshal Patel tops the Purple Cap charts in the 2021 IPL edition and has scalped a whopping 17 wickets in just 7 matches at an excellent average of 15.12. Kyle Jamieson too has been impressive with the ball and has picked up 9 wickets in the tournament thus far.

There is a sense of purpose with the way the RCB bowlers have operated this year. And, if they can continue to show the same spirit in the 2nd half of the tournament, then it might well turn out to be “Ee Saala Cup Namde’ for the RCB side in 2021.
