4. Weird conversation with Sarah Taylor

You’d never imagine putting the names of Ravindra Jadeja and Sarah Taylor in the same conversation. These two cricketers are poles apart and don’t have anything in common. But in 2014, they did have a pretty weird conversation on Twitter.

The Indian men’s team and the England women’s team had lost their respective finals in the 2014 World T20. Jadeja was not too well versed with the Twitter world and hence, he sent a direct message to Taylor after her team’s loss in the final. However, the Indian all-rounder did not follow the England wicketkeeper and thus, Taylor couldn’t respond back to the DM.

Hence, she resorted to tagging Jadeja in every message. While Jadeja kept sending her direct messages, Taylor continued putting it out as tweets. The duo was talking about each other’s finals and was asking when each other would leave Bangladesh. In the end, the duo decided to meet the next day by the poolside at 10 AM.

It was very awkward and weird as only one side of the conversation was visible with Jadeja opting to DM and Taylor not being able to do the same.
