The Challengers have been one of the most followed and active franchises on social media. They have a total of 6.1 million followers on Instagram and around 4.3 million followers on Twitter. Although they have not lifted the cup yet, they have a fan base as big as any other team.

It was before the start of the 2020 season of the IPL in February that RCB deleted all its Instagram posts which included photos, videos, and story highlights. Their fans and even fans of other franchises were really surprised and were very curious to know the reason for the same. At that time Delhi Capitals, with the aim of light banter, posted a hilarious tweet.

They posted a screenshot of an empty account of the Challengers and asked if they needed any help with rebranding the franchise. The fans found this very funny and entertaining and thus enjoyed it. The Challengers have been one of the most followed and active franchises on social media. They have a total of 6.1 million followers on Instagram and around 4.3 million followers on Twitter. Although they have not lifted the cup yet, they have a fan base as big as any other team.
It was before the start of the 2020 season of the IPL in February that RCB deleted all its Instagram posts which included photos, videos, and story highlights. Their fans and even fans of other franchises were really surprised and were very curious to know the reason for the same. At that time Delhi Capitals, with the aim of light banter, posted a hilarious tweet.
They posted a screenshot of an empty account of the Challengers and asked if they needed any help with rebranding the franchise. The fans found this very funny and entertaining and thus enjoyed it. It was later revealed by RCB that they had changed their logo and jersey and hence played some social media games.

<a href="https://www.crictracker.com/even-mumbai-struggled-a-bit-stephen-fleming-after-csks-heavy-loss-vs-dc-in-ipl-2021/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">MI </a>is undoubtedly the best franchise in the history of the league. They have won the league for a record number of 5 times and boast of a very healthy lineup of players. An important part of their strong squad is the all-round trio of Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard, and Krunal Pandya.
Hardik Pandya once posted a picture of the three of them which was much liked by the fans. Reposting that picture, MI captioned it saying, “Find a better trio than this, we will wait.” However, this did not go down very well with franchises. Responding to the post, SRH posted a picture of its then three allrounders- Shakib Al Hassan, Mohammad Nabi, and Rashid Khan, saying, “The wait is over!” Mumbai once again responded by posting a photo of its trio of 3 IPL trophies.
Other teams like CSK and KKR also responded to MI, where CSK posted a picture of MS Dhoni thrice and KKR posted a picture of Jacques Kallis, Andre Russell, and Sunil Narine as its trio. All of this was too entertaining for the fans and they enjoyed it the most, supporting their favourite franchise.

RCB has been one of the witty and interesting teams as far as social media is concerned. Once again in this banter, we have RCB as one of the participants. It was in 2020 that the <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/rr-vs-pbks-dream11-prediction-fantasy-cricket-tips-playing-xi-updates-pitch-report-injury-updates-for-match-4-apr-12th-2021/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rajasthan Royals,</a> changed their logo to a new one, replacing the previous one.
The tiff started when RCB posted a video of all its fixtures in the upcoming tournament. Representing its fixture with RR, RCB used the older logo of the Royals, and not the newly unveiled one. Rajasthan was not very impressed with this mistake and responded satirically.
They posted the picture of a cartoon that had, “I will use the correct logo of RR” multiple times as a punishment. However, RCB made a stunning comeback and posted a picture of Sanju Samson wearing a helmet displaying the old logo of RR and wrote, “You mean this logo is incorrect?” All this was very entertaining for the fans and they were left in splits by the witty tweets.

Here we have another interesting <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/twitter-reactions-nitish-rana-rahul-tripathi-shine-as-kkr-open-the-tournament-with-a-comprehensive-win-over-srh/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Twitter </a>battle between SRH and RR. Both SRH and RR are quite engaging on social media and have been involved in Twitter battles in the past. It was in the 2020 season of the IPL that this banter happened.
It was during the first encounter between the two teams that RR posted a funny tweet ordering a large biryani from Zomato at their residing hotel. However, SRH made a stunning comeback in the league by defeating them easily in the second leg.
One comeback led to another as SRH replied to the earlier tweet asking Zomato to cancel their order and stating that daal bati should do them fine. The fans found this banter very funny as well as witty and were impressed with the teams’ impressive social media games.

This is one of the most recent Twitter battles which took place between the Challengers and the Kings. As discussed earlier, RCB is one of the most engaging social media teams, and yet again we saw them as one of the participants in the banter.
It started off with RCB, impressed with Glenn Maxwell’s authoritative innings in the opening fixture of IPL 2021, posted a thanks-giving tweet for his ex-team, the Punjab Kings for releasing him. Responding to RCB’s sarcastic tweet, PBKS gave a cheeky reply thanking <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ipl-2021-rcb-admin-hilariously-trolls-pbks-admin-for-copying-their-jersey-and-logo/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">RCB</a> for giving out KL Rahul, Chris Gayle, Mandeep Singh, Sarfaraz Khan, and Mayank Agarwal in previous years, who are now a part of the Kings.
However, RCB came back with yet another witty reply, trolling PBKS for designing a jersey similar to theirs. They tweeted, “You missed jersey, helmets, pads, and… logo?” This tiff grabbed many eyeballs and was enjoyed a lot by the fans as they found it hilarious.
