Abhimanyu Easwaran from Bengal has been one of the most prolific run-scorers in Indian domestic cricket. With his ability to bat for a long duration and his brilliant technique, he has impressed many. The 24-year-old averages nearly 49 in First-class cricket and over 50 in List-A cricket.

These impressive performances have surely kept him in the reckoning for an India debut soon. Even though he is not known much for his skill in T20 cricket, he seems to have worked on his game. In recent times, he has impressed in the shortest format of the game as well.

In 12 matches so far, the left-hander scored 337 runs at an average of 37.44 and a strike rate of 132.15. He has even got a century and a half-century in the format. An IPL opportunity for one of the franchises might work as a catalyst for him and improve his chances of making his debut at the highest level.
