Scoring centuries while batting lower down the order is a tough task for any player in limited-overs cricket but MS Dhoni has scored hundreds while batting at as low as No.7 not once but twice. Till date, as many as 16 players including Dhoni have scored an ODI ton while batting at No.7 but he is the only one to do that twice. He scored an unbeaten 139 for Asia XI in 2007 after coming to the crease when they were 72/5 in the 17th over.

Dhoni shared a 218-run stand for the 6th wicket along with Mahela Jayawardene as his team ended up scoring 331/8. Five years later, he walked out to bat when his side was half down for 29 runs in the 10th over against Pakistan. He went on to score an unbeaten 113 to help India finish on a respectable total of 227/6. Interestingly, he got both these tons batting at No.7 at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
