Now as the teams are prepping for the next year’s T20 championship it is inevitable that the fans will get to watch a lot of fast-paced action. One important stop in this tourney is IPL 2020 as it the ultimate destination to hone a cricketer’s T20 skills. This time even the overseas players will be staying for the entire season. They have the potential to succeed at this level and with a little bit of support from their franchise they can own the upcoming season of IPL.

When it comes to Bangalore franchise, even the crystal ball predictions can go wrong and that’s what happened in the 12th season of IPL. With a good core and some fresh faces, they were termed as tournament favorites. As usual, the team couldn’t find a winning combination other than Virat Kohli – AB de Villiers until the last game of the season.

Especially some of their new signings didn’t play to their potential and Shivam Dube is one of them. Bagging 5 crores in the auction the all-rounder from Maharashtra was ready to set the stage on fire with his power game. Unfortunately, he couldn’t repeat his domestic form and left the team high and dry with poor shot selection in a couple of games.

Dube might have felt the nerves of staying true to his price tag and only four chances didn’t help his cause either. So the Kohli-led side should give him a long rope in the upcoming season as he can terrorize the opposition with his range hitting. Recently he was in red hot form against the South Africa A side and played match-winning cameos down the order. The youngster can turn into a beast inside the small Chinnaswamy stadium and his pace bowling will be a bonus.
