It was quite a night for Suresh Raina as he went ahead and slammed the half-century that will keep him in the Indian team for the T20Is at the very least. However, it was also quite a day for 6-year old Satish who was struck on the thigh when the southpaw smashed a six into the stands and young Satish had very little time to react to the situation.

The 6-year old was then rushed to the hospital wherein he was diagnosed with a few minor injuries to his thigh. However, after about 10 minutes, everything was seemingly fine as Satish requested to go back to the stadium to watch India complete their massive series triumph. This was a massive six from Raina that landed in the M2 (Member’s) stand after shuffling away from a delivery on leg-stump from Liam Plunkett.

“Satish was injured after one of Raina’s sixes landed on his left thigh. He was rushed to the Karnataka State Cricket Association’s medical center at the stadium for treatment,” Dr. Mathew Chandy told PTI.

“He complained of minor pain. We gave him the first aid and after 10 minutes, he requested to be relieved to watch the rest of the match. We had to give in his demand,” the doctor said.

The conclusion of the match saw the Indians complete an incredible win on the day given the fact that England capitulated to some terrible batting as well as being a beneficiary of a middle-order collapse as well. This saw Yuzvendra Chahal come away with an impressive six-wicket haul as he also now finds himself as one of the probables for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy set to begin in June.
