Rahul Dravid’s son Samit Dravid has got a marvelous future ahead. The ever-so-talented cricketer has proved time and again that he is capable of producing match-winning cameos. Having played five games for Mallya Aditi International School, Samit has accumulated 681 runs, registering his personal best score of 211* off 144 balls against BGS National Public School. He beautifully constructed the innings on the back of 26 fours and a six.

So far, Samit has scored one fifty, one hundred and two double centuries at a staggering average of 227 and what really was worth applauding was his ability to strike the balls in excess of 130 in the One-Day cup tournament. He decorated his gameplay with a flurry of 101 fours and 1 six.

Besides scoring a handful of runs for the team, Samit Dravid all put up a good bowling display in the tournament as well. He picked a total of seven wickets to his name as he registered his personal best bowling figures of 4/35 against Vidyashilp Academy.

Samit is destined to replicate success in cricket at the international level just like his proud father ruled the gentleman’s game in his prime. India’s batting phenom Rahul Dravid has been an important part of Indian cricket history and has played an important role in uplifting the values and morals of the sport.
