The house was being renovated, as per the police reports and the gate that fell on the young boy was instated very recently. This could potentially be the reason behind the accidental fall of the gate and the subsequent death of the boy.

The police are probing into the matter to find out more on the story and investigate further about the gate fall. More report is awaited on the same.

Yuvraj Singh or any of his family members is yet to give a comment on the incident.

The cricketer is at the moment out of action and recovering from an ankle injury he sustained during the World T20 match against Australia. The injury has thus far kept him out of action from the IPL as well, and is expected to take another couple of weeks to be fit.
