A game show host asks an easy question on Virat Kohli; contestant fails to answer

Virat Kohli is not just a name, he is a brand in cricket. The Indian captain enjoys a massive fan following across the globe. Since his debut in 2008 against Sri Lanka in a One Day International, Virat has successfully established himself as the greatest batsman of the modern era.

Meanwhile, a contestant of a game show failed to answer a simple question regarding the cricket superstar. In the ‘Tipping Point’ game show, the host asked one of the contestants, “The player Virat Kohli competes internationally in which bat and ball sport.”

However, the contestant didn’t know about Virat Kohli and made a wild guess that Kohli features in the sport of Baseball. Sharing this incident on his Twitter handle, the cricket enthusiast Peter Della Penna wrote, “Virat Kohli, champion baseball slugger”

Tipping Point is a popular British television quiz show which began airing on ITV on 2 July 2012 and is presented by Ben Shephard. The host invites four contestants from different parts of the country and they answer general knowledge questions in a bid to win a cash prize. The concept of the show is such that in the end, only the winner has a chance to take home any money.

 

Virat Kohli’s RCB finishes at 4th spot in IPL 2020

Virat Kohli last featured in the just-concluded 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Indian skipper had a decent run in the T20 Championship with the willow, however, he wasn’t at his fluent best. In 15 games, the right-hander collected 466 runs at an average of 42.36 and a strike rate of 121.35. He also smashed three half-centuries with an unbeaten 90 being his highest score.

As far as Virat’s IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is concerned, they finished the tournament at the fourth position after registering defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Eliminator of the league. The Bangalore outfit experienced a roller-coaster ride in IPL 2020 as they had a good start to their campaign with 5 wins in the first 7 games. However, the team had a poor run in the second half of the league as they lost 5 out of their 7 games.
