The dying humanity has been a concern at present with various instances of insensitivity towards other humans and animals cropping up across the world. In an era, when people tend to make fun of others who are in trouble instead of extending a helping hand, a man by the name Milind Raj, a resident of Lucknow has done something that will make us proud as humans. He built a drone, to help a puppy who was trapped inside a filthy drain and successfully rescued it. When the matter came to his notice, the vice-captain of the Indian team Rohit Sharma praised Milind for his efforts with a social media post.

The incident happened last month when Milind was out for usual morning walk only to hear the animal whimper. Soon he traced the source and came to know that a puppy was trapped inside a drain which was in the middle of the road. It was almost impossible for someone to save its life without putting his/her life in danger. So he put his excellent at artificial intelligence at work and decided to attach an AI-controlled robotic arm to a giant drone in order to get the puppy out of its misery.

He returned to the same place six hours later with his device and successfully managed to save the life of the dog which was struggling in it from almost two days according to the reports in NDTV.

Rohit praises Milind

Rohit Sharma is currently busy in playing the Indian Premier League (IPL) where he is leading the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI). Despite being troubled with his team’s performances, he took time out to praise the heroics of Milind who won his heart by saving the life of a dog. He was quick to take to his official Twitter handle after reading the story and wrote, “We need more people like you.”

As far as the on-field performances of Rohit are concerned, he is struggling with the bat and has failed to lead from the front. Mumbai is all set to face Kings XI Punjab in Indore on Friday as they are on the verge of elimination from the tournament.
