Jasprit Bumrah, who earned his Test debut against South Africa put up an impressive performance to justify his selection. He bowled an amazing spell of 19 overs conceding 73 runs and claimed the all-important wicket of AB de Villiers as his maiden Test wicket. However, his jinx of delivering unwanted no balls is yet to finish.

And this time, his no-ball became a reason for cricketer-turned-commentator Aakash Chopra to get trolled on Twitter. The former Indian opener made it to the headlines yet again for his faux pas. This time for updating wrong information on the micro-blogging site.

During Day1 of the opening Test in Cape Town, Bumrah got a sniff of his maiden wicket as a delivery of the speedster snipped a little of Faf du Plessis’ bat as it travelled to Wriddhiman Saha’s gloves. However, the decision of the on-field umpire remained not out following which skipper Virat Kohli asked for a review. The replay caught the 24-year-bowler landing his feet on the line which was given a no ball.

Soon enough, Chopra took to Twitter to take a dig at the missed opportunity. He wrote, “No Ball. Review wasted too. Bummer. #SAvIND.”

Evidently, the former Indian batsman missed the fact that since the delivery was declared a no-ball India did not lose their review. There was no further correction from Chopra. But he surely has learned that what it can cost if an expert gets the fact incorrect.

Chopra’s Tweet soon became fodder for the trolls. The reactions which followed were hilarious.

After sheer dominance from the bowlers, the Indian team would have hope to establish their dominion in the opener. But the batsman too had to face the heat on a sultry Newlands strip in Cape Town and ended up losing its 3 top-order batsmen under 27 runs, their innings eventually crumbled for 209 runs.
