While the real action between India and England is going on in the field, former England batsman Kevin Pietersen has made sure to keep the fans entertained with his own actions on Twitter. The legendary batsman has been a busy man on the social media platform ever since the ongoing four-match Test series started this month.

Interestingly, Kevin Pietersen has been tweeting in Hindi whenever he has tried to have some fun at the expense of the Indian team. Pietersen was at it again on Wednesday when England won the toss against India for the ongoing pink-ball Test at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. As soon as the toss went Joe Root‘s way, Pietersen took to Twitter to have some fun.

The first two Tests of the series have been won by the team winning the toss. The role of the toss was big in determining the result of the second Test where the pitch started deteriorating right from the first day. India had won a good toss and went on to win the game by 317 runs.

Pointing out the importance of toss, Pietersen posted a cheeky tweet as he wrote: “Oops india, asha karta hoon ki yeh, toss jeeto match jeeto wala wicket na ho.” (Hope this is not a win-toss win-match wicket.)

England crumble in Ahmedabad

Winning the toss, however, did not make much of a difference for England as they were all out for just 112 inside 49 overs. Barring opener Zak Crawley, who scored 53, no other England batsmen provided any resistance with the bat. Only four batsmen managed to touch the double-digit mark while no one except Crawley crossed the 20-run mark.

For India, Axar Patel was the star with the ball on his home ground. The left-arm spinner, who had taken a fifer on his debut in the second Test, picked up 6 wickets for just 38 runs. Senior spinner Ravichandran Ashwin also did well and picked up three wickets. The other wicket was picked up by Ishant Sharma who is playing his 100th Test. And as England struggled with the bat, the Indians decided to troll Pietersen.
