The fury of Coronavirus has severely affected the lives of several individuals all across the globe. The spread of life-threatening Covid-19 has put the world to a standstill and several governments have not been left with a choice but to implement a lockdown in their respective countries. Along with putting a halt to routine activities, the pandemic has also severely affected all the sporting events around the planet.
From Indian Premier League to Tokyo Olympics, from NBA to English Premier League– the pandemic has not left any sporting event unaffected. The sporting events have either been postponed or cancelled for an indefinite period of time in the wake of the debacle.
Moreover, the future of much-awaited IPL 2020 also looks vague considering the current stern situation in the country. Amid the stern atmosphere due to Coronavirus outbreak, a plethora of cricketers are spending their quarantine period while interacting with fans on social media.
Dean Jones, Kevin Pietersen, Mitchell McClenaghan, Shreyas Iyer, Rohit Sharma and many more have been spotted conducting a Question & Answer session on Twitter in recent times. And joining the bandwagon on Friday was none other than Australia’s limited-overs skipper Aaron Finch.
Finch answered several questions on Twitter related to cricket as well as personal life. The skipper was also asked about his favourite captain of all time, to which he responded with Allan Border.
“Favourite captain of all time with whom you would take some advice ?,” asked a fan to Finch before the Australia captain took Allan Border’s name.

Aaron Finch was snapped up by RCB in the IPL 2020 auction
Finch was involved in the recently-cancelled ODI series between Australia and New Zealand. Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the series was called off after the first One-day International. The right-hander is also slated to don the Royal Challengers Bangalore jersey in the upcoming IPL 2020. However, with the outbreak of Covid-19, the feasibility of the tournament looks bleak.
Finch was snapped up by the Virat Kohli-led franchise for a sum of INR 4.40 crore in the IPL 2020 Auction. The top-order batsman is expected to bolster RCB’s batting force in the thirteenth edition of the league. However, with the possibility of the tournament to happen looking slim, fans will have to wait a little longer to witness RCB’s quest to clinch their maiden IPL title.
