Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh recently launched his fashion line YWC Fashion in a gala event attended by most cricketers and celebrities in the country. Since he defeated cancer Yuvi was pretty certain he wanted to do something for others who have faced the deadly disease and that was how he started You We Can. His foundation that helps cancer patients.

As a professional cricketer, he has achieved what most dream of. Starting right from the Under-19 level, he was not just a part of the junior World Cup winning team but also won the Man of the series. But the highest point of his life was the World Cup 2011, where he not just helped India win the championship and ended up as the Player of the tournament but did all that with a tumor in his body while he coughed blood.

That takes a lot of character than just being an excellent cricketer. That’s the supreme dedication and strength one can show in a bid to realize a dream. In an interview with MensXP he talks about a lot of different things from food to the car he drives. Here are some of the questions he answered.

What’s the first thing you eat in the morning?

“Some dry fruits, some fruits, granola, cereal, boiled eggs.”

Then he shows former Australian pacer Brett Lee’s framed T-shirt with an autograph.

“That T-shirt was given to me by Brett Lee in 2003. I scored my second 100 against Australia.”

Talking about You We Can he said, “YWC, as known as You We Can was started from my charity four years ago. Live, dare, inspire is the theory of the brand.”

What was the recent best moment in his life?

“The launch of the brand, winning the 2011 World Cup as a professional cricketer.”
