Furthermore, a user also asked the actress if she has ever played the game of cricket. To this, Shirodkar answered, “Yes, the only difference is it’s called French cricket.”

Dhoni and Kohli have been pillars of Indian cricket

Both Dhoni and Kohli are regarded as the pillars of the Indian cricket team and they’ve have played a vital role in making the team reach the No. 1 spot. Kohli is also a big fan of Dhoni and he always speaks highly of his former captain.

There have been many instances in the past when the Delhi stalwart has credited Mahi for his success as a captain and batsman. Kohli had made his international debut in 2008 under the leadership of Dhoni.

A few days back, the current Indian skipper had heaped praises on the Ranchi star in an Instagram chat with spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. Kohli had revealed that Dhoni was the main reason for him becoming the captain of the Indian cricket team. He had also told Ashwin how he used to be around Mahi to learn something new while being on the match field.

“From the day I came into the Indian side, I wanted to learn and was intrigued by the game. I would always be in Dhoni’s ears on the field. I would be bouncing off a lot of my ideas with him, of which he would refuse plenty. But he would also discuss a few things with me if he liked an idea,” Kohli had said.

“He would always keep observing me. I kept learning from him, and my inquisitiveness probably gave him the belief and confidence that perhaps I was the next guy to lead the country. I don’t think the selectors appointed me as India captain suddenly. They probably had Dhoni as a sounding board before giving me the reins. I believe Dhoni played a big role in me getting the India captaincy,” the 31-year-old had added.
