The Ireland team is having a miserable time in the T20I series against Afghanistan. The Asian side is proving to be very strong opposition for their liking and the results have reflected the same. Afghanistan decimated the opposition in the second T20I to clinch the series with one more game to go.

Hazratullah Zazai and Usman Ghani played sublime knocks in the match to hand the team over with a massive win. The third and the last T20I between these two sides will be played on Sunday itself and the teams have got very little time to recover. However, all that the Afghans will be looking at is a clean sweep from this stage.

Pitch and Conditions

Even though they struggled slightly with the bat in the series opener, Afghanistan team enjoyed batting in the second T20I. The track at Dehradun has a good amount of assistance for the spinners. Once the batsmen settle in, they can easily get big scores. Clear skies are predicted for the upcoming game and there will be a drop in the temperatures as the game progresses.

The experience of Asghar Afghan will help the middle-order while Hazratullah Zazai is destructive as usual. For the final game, the management might look to slot Zahir Khan into the eleven and hand him over his much-awaited debut.
