It was not very long ago when tennis ace Maria Sharapova was trolled by the cricket fans on the social media for not ‘knowing’ who Sachin Tendulkar is. This time, the British Airways are on the receiving end for doing something similar.
The 42-year-old cricket legend, who is currently in the US for the third and final All Stars t20, looked unimpressed with the “Don’t care” attitude of the British Airlines. Sachin Tendulkar, during his playing days, was prominently known for his composed temperament at the crease, but on Friday he finally vented out his frustration.
The former Indian cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar, was not at all pleased with his experience with the British Airways on Thursday. Sachin was on his way to US when British Airways made a mistake with a family member’s ticket resulting in the ticket being waitlisted. In addition to that, what snapped Sachin more was his baggage being mishandled en route to the US. Sachin took to twitter to express his frustration and tweeted,
Angry Disappointed and Frustrated.. #BAdserviceBA Family member's Waitlisted ticket not confirmed despite seats being available (1/2)

And luggage being tagged by @British_Airways to wrong destination and don't care attitude! #NeveronBA (2/2)

The popular flag carrier airline of the United Kingdom was quick to respond and attempted to help Sachin with an immediate retweet, but only to worsen the situation for them.
@sachin_rt We're sorry to hear this Sachin, could you please DM us your baggage ref, full name and address so we can look into this for you?

This resulted in an immediate flurry of retweets from the fans of Sachin Tendulkar from all around the globe. Outraged fans of Sachin ripped the airlines on Twitter. Here’re some of the tweets:
.@British_Airways First you don't return kohinoor, Now @sachin_rt luggage also!! How much we should tolerate?!

Looks like India can forgive Britain for 100 Yrs of occupation but not for British Airways asking @sachin_rt his full name.
