Harbhajan Singh may not be involved as a player these days but that does not stop him from raking up headlines. The Turbanator has been quite active on social media platforms as well as in commentary, and whether it is standing up for important issues to getting himself involved in hilarious banters with former cricketers, Harbhajan rakes up a headline every fortnight.

The Turbantor was recently involved in a hilarious banter with former South African tearaway fielder, Jonty Rhodes when the latter posted a photo where he could be seen donning his national side’ uniform from of his photoshoots in Mumbai. With the South African batsmen falling like nine pins against the relentlessness of the Indian spinners as well as its pacers, the former off-spinner took a hilarious jibe at Rhodes asking whether he could turn out to bat for the visitors.

Moreover, Harbhajan has also made it a point of taking a stand on important issues. The ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy has seen itself get mired in controversy following Mumbai and Punjab’s exit from the tournament after their respective quarter-finals were washed out due to rain.

Teams like Tamil Nadu, who were in Group C played a maximum of nine games as compared to say a team like Punjab who in Group A/B played just eight games, meaning even if the latter had won all of their eight games, they still won’t have been good enough.

Following their exit, a lot of current and former cricketers including Harbhajan Singh criticized the rule. The former Indian spinner took to Twitter stating, “Sick rule why not reserve day for these tournaments @BCCI must look into this and change it.”

Bhajji 2.0? Akash Chopra thinks so!

Harbhajan again managed to grab the headlines on Thursday when former Indian opener and current commentator Akash Chopra shared a video on Twitter where a young girl could be seen emulating Bhajji’s action. Appreciating her bowling action, Chopra likened it to Harbhajan’s action, commenting “Hey harbhajan_singh, looks like you’re her inspiration….like a lot of other aspiring spinners in the country’
