England opening batsman Alex Hales took a catch near the boundary ropes to send the Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq back to the dressing room without adding anything on to the team total.
Misbah, who was the century scorer of the first innings, played an unexpected shot while facing his second ball of the second innings. He tried to go after the spin option of Moeen Ali and ended in the hands of Hales.
But it was the unfortunate facial expression from Hales at the moment of taking the catch made his teammates cracked up. It was Moeen Ali who pointed out the picture and posted on the social media, mockingly claiming that Misbah was unlucky because Hales was looking at different directions and incapable of catching anything.
Misbah was unfortunate!! Great effort catching the ball looking in different directions!! @AlexHales1 @josbuttler pic.twitter.com/EHG4ZE2IfD

Jos Buttler and Stuart Broad joined later on in mocking Alex Hales:
@MoeenAli @AlexHales1 HAHAHAAHA!! How did he even get there running in quicksand

There were other reactions to Hales’ picture as well, one fan alluding to the Pokemon game in a joke.
