India won the 2nd T20I against Bangladesh at Rajkot and have successfully managed to level the series by 1-1. The hosts were outclassed in Delhi and there was a big chance in the hands of the visitors in order to register their maiden series win against the hosts but they lost it. And, Shikhar Dhawan came out with a heartwarming gesture on social media in order to thank the fans for supporting the team.

Rohit Sharma, the Indian skipper won the toss and asked the visitors to bat first. Bangladesh got off to good start as their opener gave an opening stand of 60 runs before Rishabh Pant run-Liton Das out at his individual score of 29. After that their batsman lost their wickets at regular interval and Indian bowlers started getting a strong grip in the match.

Towards the end of the innings, Tigers could only post a total of 153 runs at the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. Among the Indian bowlers, Yuzvendra Chahal took two wickets followed by one-one wickets in the corner of Deepak Chahar, K Khaleel Ahmed and Washington Sundar.

Later on, the Indian openers didn’t offer a single opportunity to the bowlers of visitors team in order to make a comeback. Shikhar Dhawan (31 runs off 27 balls) and Rohit Sharma (85 runs off 43 balls) stitched a partnership of 118 runs. The left-handed opener was the first batsman to get dismissed by Bangladesh, followed by the wicket of Rohit Sharma. But, in the end, Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul finished the match with 26 balls remaining.
