Anushka Sharma greets hubby Virat Kohli with a hug after India’s Bangladesh domination

Virat Kohli is currently going through a purple patch in his cricket career. Though he has slumped to a few failures with the bat, his credentials as the Indian skipper, especially in Test cricket, can’t be questioned by any stretch of the imagination. Under his leadership, the national team has won seven matches in the World Test Championship and has a massive 360 points in their kitty.

To start with, Kohli’s men beat the West Indies, followed by the demolition work of South Africa, and now Bangladesh, bearing their brunt. The opponents have been no match to the strong Indian setup. Their last victory came against Mominul Haque’s Tigers at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. It was the famous pink-ball Day-Night Test and India showed why they are deemed as a brute force.

India won the game by an innings and 46 runs and the match ended in a tad over a couple of days. Virat also became the first Indian batsman to notch a century in a pink-ball Test and he got the feat on the second day of the Test. It was not only India’s 12 consecutive Test series wins at home, but they also managed to rack up their longest winning streak of seven victories in the format.

After his success, Anushka Sharma, Virat’s wife, would have been overjoyed. The Bollywood actress came to receive Kohli at the airport. She was dressed casually in a pink hoodie. On the other hand, Virat was wearing a black track pants and shirt with white sneakers. As soon as Virat entered the car, Anushka greeted him with a warm hug, expressing her love and admiration for her husband.

The duo has been very appreciative of each other and got married in December 2017. They have a chock-a-block schedule, yet manages to find time for each other. A number of times, the fans have alleged Anushka for Virat’s occasional failures.

However, both have taken stands for each other in the tough times, answering the critics. Earlier in November, Virat celebrated his birthday with Anushka amidst the mountains of Bhutan enjoying the bliss of love and nature.
