Anushka Sharma is proud of her love Virat Kohli after India's successful Australia tour

For the first time, Team India will be returning home with a Test and ODI series win from Australia. While they had won the T20Is in 2016, the Men in Blue had never two series on the tour Down Under. MS Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav’s exceptional partnership helped India win the decider at the MCG on Friday and the captain Virat Kohli, not for the first time, entered the record books. His wife Anushka Sharma is extremely proud of the team’s performance and also lauded her husband.

The long and gruelling tour started with the three-match T20I series which ended at 1-1. The second match which the visitors were bossing at the MCG was washed out due to rain. But the heavens couldn’t save the hosts in the four-match Test series that followed. After starting well in Adelaide and botching up the lead in Perth, the Kohli-led side came back strongly to win the first ever Boxing Day Test at the MCG.

Unforgettable and Outstanding

Come the One-Day Internationals, the Men in Blue were always the favourites but were pegged back in the series opener. But the champion came back stunningly once again to seal the series at the iconic Stadium. It was MS Dhoni who anchored the Indian victories in the series while Virat Kohli led from the front in the second and must-win game.

Anushka Sharma was part of the tour every now and then as she was seen during the Test series as well. The Bollywood actress was delighted after another series and lauded the team’s efforts. Moreover, Anushka reserved some special words for her husband who has been scaling new heights like a routine these days.
