Balkh Legends faced their first defeat of the tournament as they went down against Paktia Panthers by 37 runs in a high-scoring game. Paktia posted a big total of 204/4 in their 20 overs with Cameron Delport scoring an unbeaten 70 off 48 balls. Contributions from other end helped Paktia to post a 200+ total.

Chasing a big total, Balkh made 38 in only 2.3 overs with Chris Gayle smashing a couple out of the park on his APL debut. However, the Pakita bowlers pull back to dismiss the dangerous Internationals in the opposition captain and helped their team to climb to the top spot in the points table.
