The 5th game of the Ashes Test Series 2019 will be played between Australia and England at the Kennington Oval in London.
The match starts at 11:00 AM local time (3:30 PM IST) (10:00 AM GMT).
This game will be live on Sony Six and Sony Six HD in India. Live streaming will be available on Sony LIV.
After the 4th Ashes Test, the Englishmen have lost their chance to regain the urn. Currently, they are lagging by 2-1 and now they have only one chance to draw the series by winning the last showdown at the Oval. Australia successfully turned the tables towards them after a huge disappointment at the Headingley.
England has lost their chance to regain the Ashes despite playing at home and now they will look to topple the Kangaroos in the final face-off. They have brought back Sam Curran and Chris Woakes at the expense of Craig Overton and Jason Roy. Steve Smith has severely dominated in this series with the bat and the bowlers are yet to find a way to get him out early.
The weather for the Test looks appropriate with no forecast of rain to come as a roadblock during the match in the upcoming 5 days. The temperature is expected to be within 22 to 25 Degree Celsius which is nominal as far as cricket is concerned. The clouds and sun will remain in a tussle to outclass each other during the match.
The Oval pitch is quite good to bat on. It’s got a little bit more carry, pace, and bounce than the normal wicket. If the England vs India game is considered at the venue last year, it was a featherbed for the batsmen. And if the conditions remain dry, the reverse swing could come into play.
Average first innings score: 328 (Last five Tests at the venue)
Average second innings score: 329 (Last five Tests at the venue)
Average third innings score: 274 (Last five Tests at the venue)

Steve Smith is currently the leading scorer out of both the teams with 671 runs under his belt and he will look to bolster every chance to end this series on a high note in the final Test match of the series.
Jofra Archer can be a hefty pick for the Brits in the final showdown on the bouncy wicket of Oval. He has grabbed a total of 16 wickets in 3 Test matches for his team.
Captain and Vice-Captain Selection:
Captain Options: Steve Smith, Pat Cummins, Stuart Broad
Vice-Captain Options: Joe Root, Jofra Archer, Marnus Labuschagne
Suggested Playing XI for Head to Head/Small Leagues:
Wicketkeeper – Tim Paine
Batsmen – David Warner, Steve Smith (C), Joe Root, Rory Burns
All Rounders – Marnus Labuschagne
Bowlers – Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins (VC), Stuart Broad, Jofra Archer.
Suggested Playing XI for Grand Leagues/Mega Leagues:
Wicketkeeper – Tim Paine, Jonny Bairstow
Batsmen – Steve Smith (C), Joe Denly, Rory Burns
All Rounders – M Labuschagne, Ben Stokes
Bowlers – Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Stuart Broad (VC)
If Stokes plays as a specialist batsman, it would be a wise decision not to pick him as he eats 11 credits. You can opt for Labuschagne in the all-rounders’ category and pick an extra bowler instead.
With 16 points for a wicket, now you can make a bowler C or VC in Tests as well.
Australia are expected to win the final Test match and seal the series by 3-1.
