Veteran fast bowler Ashish Nehra was recently named the Man of the Match for his 3-wicket haul against the Mumbai Indians. In a recent interview with iplt20.com, Ashish Nehra revealed why he does not prefer using the social media.

Ashish Nehra cited the reason that he is a professional player and has a match on every alternate day. He uses his time preparing for the match and doing his training, after which he simply does not get enough time to use the social media. “I am too busy trying to keep myself fit. We are playing a game every alternate day and so I don’t have time for all this,” quoted Nehra.

He further added that the team mentor VVS Laxman has been trying to convince him to use social media but has obviously been unsuccessful as Nehra has no plans of being on the social media anytime soon. He even added that social media consumes a lot of time and he certainly does not has so much of time to waste on it.

“VVS Laxman is on my case to make me come on social media, but I am not coming anytime soon. It consumes too much time,” quoted the left-arm pacer.

Nehra was also in full praise for the bowling unit of SRH that bundled Mumbai Indians for just 92 at Vizag. “We have got a very good bowling attack. We have got variety in three young guys and I am trying to support them,” said Nehra on the SRH bowling unit.

Rumors are being spread that Nehra is tipped to be the next bowling coach of India. Commenting on this, the Delhi bowler said, “Many people have been asking me this question. I have always told them that I am still playing cricket. However, you never know, one day, maybe.”
