India’s clash against Pakistan, captained by Sarfraz Ahmed, in the 2018 Asia Cup at Dubai International Cricket Stadium is expected to be an absolute crackerjack. Both teams have already qualified for the Super 4 and hence, the match in Dubai doesn’t have any worth whatsoever as far as the multi-nation tournament is concerned. However, it remains to be the most awaited clash of the 50-overs event.

India, led by right-handed batter Rohit Sharma, doesn’t have a glorious record against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates and moreover, they also don’t have Virat Kohli, their regular all-format skipper, in the lineup. Therefore, many experts reckon the Men in Green have the upper hand going into the historic encounter. Both teams would be hoping to win the encounter and finish atop the points table.

Anushka and Varun in the studio

In the meantime, the commentators are also getting themselves prepared for the match. The likes of Jatin Sapru, Graeme Smith and Brett Lee are the analysts in the studio. During the pre-match show, Anushka Sharma, Virat’s better half, and Varun Dhawan graced their presence. Both have recently been in the news for the reason that their movie ‘Sui Dhaaga’ is scheduled for a release on September 28.

The trailer released on the second week of August and became a massive hit and Anushka also became a butt of jokes in the social media surrounding a couple of scenes in the Bollywood flick. In the pre-match show, Graeme Smith in his tweet mentioned that he and the Australian fast bowler got themselves auditioned for a Bollywood role.

He took to Twitter and wrote, “In build up to the big game today @BrettLee_58 and myself auditioned for a Bollywood role. Thank you @AnushkaSharma and @Varun_dvn for being such great teachers. @StarSportsIndia #AsiaCup #IndiavsPakistan #SelectDugout,”
