Asia Cup 2025

The 2025 edition of the Asia Cup is all set to be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 9 to 28. The opening encounter between Afghanistan and Hong Kong will be played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi while the summit clash will be held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Eight teams are set to take part in Asia Cup 2025. Group A comprises India, Pakistan, Oman and the UAE. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Hong Kong, and Bangladesh are placed in Group B. The top two teams from each group will make it to the Super-Four stage of the tournament.

India are the most successful team in the competition, having won the title on eight occasions. They are also the defending champions, having won the previous edition in 2023. Asia Cup will be played in the T20 format to help teams prepare for next year's World Cup.
