Pakistan and Australia will tour Zimbabwe for T20 triangular series which begins on July 1. As per reports, the series will feature seven games which be played at the Harare Sports Club. The final will take place at the same venue on July 8. Thereafter, the Pakistan team will stay back for a five-match ODI series which starts on July 13 to be staged at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo.
The series was in grave danger following Zimbabwe’s dismal financial condition. However, following negotiations with the sponsors, the board somehow managed to schedule the series. Faisal Hasnain, the Managing Director (MD) of Zimbabwe Cricket announced the fixtures of both the series in a recent interaction with the media.
