The elder of the Pandya brothers, Krunal Pandya, made his debut for Mumbai Indians in the 2016 IPL and since then he never looked back. Krunal, along with his brother Hardik, is the crucial member of the Mumbai Indians outfit. The left-handed batsman helped Mumbai Indians win its third IPL title in 2017 by scoring crucial 47 runs in the final to take his team to a decent target in a low scoring game against Rising Pune Supergiant.

His heroics with the franchise has helped him earn a call in the Indian T20I squad. The Baroda born cricketer made his debut against the Windies and scored a 21 not out in the only match he batted out of three. He is a street-smart cricketer with unorthodox batting style along with exceptional fielding skills.

The 27-year-old can also be a handy left-arm bowler if needed. Krunal has to make the T20I series against Australia count both with bat and ball if he wants to cement his place. Also, it may also help him earn a call in the ODI squad to replace Ravindra Jadeja who has struggled in close matches for India with the bat.
