The ongoing Adelaide Test is the best chance for Team India to take an early lead in the series. Australia are struggling even to score runs having lost four wickets chasing a hefty total of 323 runs. India’s fast bowlers are all over the opposition batsmen not giving a sniff while also keeping the close-in field tight. However, in a bid to stop a single in the third session, Jasprit Bumrah dived and jammed his shoulder a bit to eventually walk off the field.

The fast bowler was stationed at cover when Shaun Marsh drove the ball to him off Ravi Ashwin. Bumrah dived desperately to stop the ball and did well. But in the process, he landed awkwardly on his left shoulder. He didn’t get up soon and was in a little pain as the physio Patrick Farhart had to come on the field. After treating him for some time, Bumrah walked off the field which is being seen as a precautionary measure as of now.

Bumrah on fire

Jasprit Bumrah was expected to be among wickets in the Test series and the youngster hasn’t disappointed a bit. He began the game ordinarily conceding 24 runs off his first five overs. But soon after realising that he needs to change his length, the fast bowler is nearly impossible to play with the pace he generates. Bumrah also bowled the fastest delivery of the Test match delivering at a massive speed of 153.26 kmph.

He has so far picked three wickets in the match and is yet to strike in the second innings. The way he is bowling at the moment, it will be hard for the Australian batsmen to keep him away for a long time.

Meanwhile, in the latest update, Bumrah has come back to bowl and despite a little discomfort, is still bowling at a speed in excess of 140.
