Only 7 runs came in the Super Over bowled by Sophie Ecclestone which was chased down in only four deliveries.

All the statistical highlights from England Women’s Super Over win against Australia Women:

A rare tie for both Australia and England:

3 – Only the 3rd time both Australia Women and England Women were part of a Tied T20I match and the first in more than seven years. This was also the 2nd time a T20I game between these two teams ended in a Tie – The 2010 Women’s WT20 match in St Kitts being the other which the Australia Women won in the Super Over.

Australia played out a Tie against New Zealand Women in the 2006 Brisbane T20I which was the first-ever Tied game in Women’s T20I cricket. The hosts Australia won in the Bowl out during that game. On the other hand, England were part of a Tie against West Indies during the T20I Tri-series in 2013 where the hosts won the Super Over.

High-scoring T20I Tie:

312 – The 312 runs aggregated by both teams in this match makes it the high-scoring Tie in Women’s T20I cricket. The most runs scored in the previous ten Tied T20Is in Women’s cricket was 292 runs during the 2018 Amstelveen T20I between Netherlands (146/3) and UAE (146/9).

Knight continues to excel at the Manuka Oval:

3 – All the three fifties in the T20I cricket by Heather Knight came across the seven matches she played at the Canberra’s Manuka Oval. Her highest score in 61 T20Is played at other venues is 43 which came during the recent series in Malaysia against Pakistan.

3 – Heather Knight’s three T20I fifties in Canberra are the joint-most 50+ scores in Women’s T20Is at a venue by a player. Five players in this format have recorded three 50+ scores at a ground. However, only Knight in Canberra and Stafanie Taylor in St Kitts have recorded those fifty-plus scores in three straight innings.

Mooney @ 1000:

1050 – Beth Mooney became only the 6th Australian Women to aggregate 1000 runs in the T20I format. Mooney got to the milestone in 39 innings; the 2nd quickest after Meg Lanning (38 inns) among these six players.

A tough game with the ball for Brunt:

47 – Runs conceded by Katherine Brunt in this match; the 3rd most runs conceded by an England Women in a T20I. Anya Shrubsole conceded 50 runs also against Australia in only three overs during the last year’s Chelmsford T20I while Jenny Gunn went for 49 runs during the 2018 Tri-Nation T20I series match against India.

Perry’s economical spell:

5 – Ellyse Perry conceded only nine runs in her four overs during this match. This was the 5th time that Perry conceded less than ten runs in a T20I after bowling out the full quota of four overs. Among pacers, Perry is tied along with Anya Shrubsole and Chamani Seneviratna as they also conceded less than ten runs in five T20Is.
