After the hard fought battle in the first Test match of the 2-Test series, the players of Australia and Bangladesh will leave for Chittagong together. The tigers must be brimming with confidence after the win in the first match while Aussies might be looking for the solutions for their problems.

Both the teams are scheduled to leave for Chittagong, where the second Test will be played on Monday. At 9.45 am on 1st September they will start their flight of Bangladesh Biman to Shah Amanat airport in Chittagong with their respective support staffs. Bangladesh are expected to win the series 2-0 now after a historic triumph in Dhaka.

Practice session for Bangladesh postponed

The teams will reach Chittagong on Friday and the next day i.e on 2nd September, Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated across the country. For this reason, the practice session of the Tigers have been postponed and they are going to celebrate the occasion at the local boy Tamim Iqbal’s house on Chittagong.

Though, the schedule for the visitors will remain same as they are set to train hard to counter the spin attack of the hosts. Australia will look to come back strongly and avoid the humiliation of losing the series against Bangladesh for the first time.

The first Test match between the two teams was no less than a thriller as the hosts got better of the Kangaroos by just 20 runs. Local hero and one of the finest all-rounders going around in world cricket, Shakib Al Hasan performed exceptionally well and was awarded the Man of the Match award for his  10-wicket haul in the match. He was well supported by Mehidy Hasan, Taijul Islam, and Tamim Iqbal.

Playing at his home ground, opener Tamim Iqbal would love to make a huge impact in Chittagong. The second and final Test match of the series will start from September 4.
