Bangladesh cricket Board President Nazmul Hasan Papon has stated that he will investigate the reported rift Mustafizur Rahman is having with his teammates. The 21-year old has been one of those players heavily tipped to become an international cricketing legend by many. In addition, he is also a player who has been heavily protected by the Bangladesh board as well.

However, despite all this, he has boasted of some terrific performances with the ball, meaning that he has taken enough wickets to make him a world-class commodity. In addition to the fact that he is the sensation that he is, his career thus far has been heavily injury ravaged, meaning that he hasn’t quite lived up to his potential as yet.

Nazmul Hasan’s statement began with the fact that Mustaifzur had indeed been dealt with yet another injury blow, meaning that he would be denied yet another chance of making a Test debut. ‘He also claimed that Mustafiz developed a new injury in his waist that could deny him a chance of playing in the second Test against New Zealand as well.

There was also speculation about the fact that this could be a well-disguised rumor. “There is a speculation like this and I feel it is a rumor,” said Nazmul. “Still we need to find out whether any such thing actually happened or not.”

Hasan also expressed his worry over what was happening in the side at the moment. “I was worried (after hearing his words…I immediately asked the team management to sit and find out about his problem because we cannot take a  risk about him,” he said.
