Bangladesh Premier League season 3 teams and full squads: Brendon Taylor, one of the unsung heroes of Zimbabwean cricket during the late 2000s, has signed up for Barisal Bulls for the upcoming edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). Taylor, who retired from international cricket post the 2015 World Cup and signed up as a Kolpak player for Nottinghamshire, will be amongst 19 overseas players who have been signed up for BPL 3.

Taylor had an impressive debut county season for Nottinghamshire wherein he scored over 1000 runs, he has made himself available for the entire BPL tournament, which starts from 22nd November.

Barisal Bulls have an impressive lineup as far as foreign players are concerned, with Taylor joining the dangerous Chris Gayle at the top of the order. Other international picks include West Indians Kevon Cooper and Evin Lewis, Seekkuge Prasanna from Sri Lanka, and former Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Sami.

As far as other teams are concerned, English all-rounder Chris Jordan, who is currently in the team touring Pakistan in UAE, will join Sylhet Super Stars, who have also bagged internationally-capped Ravi Bopara and Josh Cobb, prominent players in the English county circuit.

Darren Sammy, who had featured for Outlaws in the previous edition, will play for Rangpur Riders, while Dhaka Dynamite has an impressive list of international players including Ryan Ten Doeschate and Kumar Sangakkara.

All in all, there are 19 overseas players who were picked in the BPL draft.

The 3rd edition of the Bangladesh Premier League will start from 22nd November, and will end on 15th December. Prominent Bangladeshi national players, Tamim Iqbal (Chittagong), Musfiqur Rahim (Sylhet), Mahmudullah (Barisal), Shakib Al Hasan (Rangpur), Nasir Hossain (Dhaka) and Mashrafe Mortaza (Comilla) are the icon players for the respective teams.
