The first game of this series panned out in a way many expected as the hosts Bangladesh managed to register a thumping win, despite some late fightback from the Zimbabweans. This is how the series is expected to move on as well, though the visitors will not go down without a fight.
Kyle Jarvis, who has been around with the national side for a long time, had a wonderful outing both with the bat and ball. Their inconsistent top order has let them down in the first game and it has been the story in the last few games they played.
Bangladesh, on the other hand, are riding high on confidence ever since their incredible Asia Cup campaign. They have got all the areas covered with strong and effective players and their recent form is just adding to their morale. With their unmatched home crowd backing them, it will take an awful lot for the visitors to take something away.
Pitch and weather
The weather is set to remain above 30 Degrees Celsius and this will not trouble either of the sides much. But once again, the pitch will be a little slow and dry, giving some extra drift and purchase for the spinners. It will be interesting to see how many spinners will the Bangladeshi captain play in the XI.
Playing combinations
Bangladesh
Liton Das and Imrul Kayes will continue to open in the absence of Tamim Iqbal, with Fazle Mahmud coming in at number 3. Mushfiqur Rahim, Mohammad Mithun, Mahmudullah and Mehidy Hasan will follow in the middle-order. Predicted XI: Imrul Kayes, Liton Das, Fazle Mahmud, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Mohammad Mithun, Mahmudullah, Mehidy Hasan, Mohammad Saifuddin, Mashrafe Mortaza (c), Nazmul Islam, Mustafizur Rahman.

Kyle Jarvis and Donald Tiripano will remain the key among the bowling unit alongside Brandon Mavuta and Tendai Chatara.
Predicted XI: Cephas Zhuwao, Hamilton Masakadza (c), Craig Ervine, Brendan Taylor (wk), Sean Williams, Sikandar Raza, Peter Moor, Brandon Mavuta, Kyle Jarvis, Tendai Chatara, Donald Tiripano.
